My brother, Robert, moved to Wimbledon back in the 1980s and, except for
a couple of years in Taiwan, has been a resident ever since. He and his
wife, Kari, have become British citizens. He became a Dons supporter
immediately and was present, with our father, when they beat Liverpool
1-0 in the FA Cup Final at Wembley. From time to time I have attended
games at Plough Lane, Selhurst Park and, two years ago, at the Fans
Stadium. Through my brother I even own a piece of the new stadium. I
look forward to our continuing rise and MK Dons continuing fall. I
wonder at what divisional level we'll pass them. |

Tim Healing |
New York, NY |
Timbo - I
was brought up in South London. When I was a kid, my Dad and brother
used to take me along to see a variety of clubs and I just stuck with
the Dons. I followed them as best I could in the seventies, but it
wasn't until the mid eighties (when I got a job and therefore money)
that I became a more ardent fan and later a season ticket holder. Work
took me to Asia in the Summer of 2000, so I haven't been to a game since
the Premiership relagation. I moved to New York in 2003, but try to
follow things as best I can via internet. |
